What we're about

We are mostly in east Michigan, but our group is as far south as Northern Ohio, North as Gaylord and West as Lansing. So Welcome All. We are open to anyone hosting and encourage it -- so if you are interested, please message us.

Socially we do occasionally ladies night outs, salsa dancing, group workouts, and dinners. But this mostly a women's adventure to include rock climbing, dance, kayaking, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, camping, and skiing/snowboarding. We strive to empower each other an to incorporate activities. For example, some of us like to ski/snowboard, but others might like to snowshoe or cross country ski--we try to lump trips together both here in Michigan and in Colorado.

We accept all ages and all levels, although we are geared to more of the beginner/intermediate when it comes to outdoor adventure. This group is for any woman looking for connect with other women through the majority of adventure type of physical activities. While there will be some social gatherings such as going to dinner or a bar night, this group is primarily geared towards those who are physically active outdoors whether it may be salsa dancing, physical fitness or something outdoors. If you are looking for a primarily social group that does lighter activities not listed above or things like visiting museums or traveling, walking, etc this is probably not the group for you.

What makes our group different---regardless of your skill level, you will always have someone along your side, helping you, cheering you on. At any event, you will never feel disconnected. We accept EVERYONE.

A couple of guidelines though. For larger events to be a go, there must be at least 4 persons going (not including the event host/organizer). Otherwise it is up to the organizer/event host to keep an event open or to cancel it.

You must have a profile picture of yourself so we can recognize you at events.

Also if you are a no show for 3 consecutive events you RSVP for, you will be removed from the group. The organizers and event hosts, put a lot of time into these events, when you don't show without a valid reason, this is disrespectful to their efforts. This will not be tolerated.

As a member of this women's group, it is expected that you treat every woman with dignity and respect. That saying, any disagreements with other members you are expected to first go to that person and work it out. If it cannot be worked out, then please contact the organizer of this group. Drama will not be tolerated.

We ask that you either pay $5/year in dues or contribute $1 per event you attend.
