What we’re about
Galway Go Club is a community for anyone interested in playing, learning, or discovering the ancient board game of Go (also known as Baduk or Weiqi).
We meet regularly in Galway City for friendly games, teaching sessions, and casual chats over coffee or pints. All levels are welcome, from total beginners to seasoned dan players.
Whether you’re curious about strategy, culture, or just want to meet interesting people over a beautiful game, come along! We provide boards and stones, and there’s always someone happy to teach.
