New Year’s Special: Kobe Sansha Mairi (Three Shrine Visit)

Celebrate the New Year with a traditional Sansha Mairi (Three Shrine Visit) in Kobe! Join us as we explore three iconic shrines—Ikuta Shrine, Minatogawa Shrine, and Nagata Shrine—while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Japan’s New Year traditions. Enjoy the lively New Year environment, including festive food stalls and cultural displays, while connecting with others through bilingual conversations.
Schedule:

• 9:30 AM: Meet at San-Kita Amore Park (near Hankyu Sannomiya Station)
• 10:00-10:45 AM: Visit Ikuta Shrine for New Year’s prayers and blessings
• 11:15-12:00 PM: Travel to and explore Minatogawa Shrine
• 12:30-1:15 PM: Travel to and visit Nagata Shrine, the final stop of the tour

Notes:

• This event may be canceled if the number of participants is too low. Please RSVP in advance to secure your spot!
• Participation is free, but transportation and personal expenses (e.g., omamori, food, lunch) are self-funded.
• Dress warmly and wear comfortable walking shoes.
• We will guide participants on shrine etiquette, including how to pray, for those unfamiliar with Japanese traditions.
