Starting at Craven Sailing Club , the trail heads past Embsay Reservoir and climbs to Crookrise Crag Top where it winds over the open moorland past Brown Bank, and descends via Tewit Bogs, Ram's Gill, and Eastby.
There are lovely views over the moorland and surrounding
countryside and you can keep an eye out for wildlife as you make your way round.
Take care on the rougher sections, especially in wetter conditions when the terrain becomes more difficult.
This trail is best attempted in calm, clear, and dry weather with good visibility.
