Become a puppy raiser!

In addition to owning and training dogs at Mana dog training, I also work with Hawaii Fido in my spare time. Over the next week, I will be recruiting full-time, long-term puppy raisers to join me and our team.

Hawaii Fido is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training service dogs that assist individuals with mobility challenges. We mostly rely on volunteers, and my role is to help them train the dogs effectively so they can be placed with those in need.

Where : in your home. We also meet for group sessions weekly. We don’t have a facility so the group sessions tend to move around to different locations.

When : we are recruiting now! So don’t hesitate to reach out.

What do you expect : Hawaii Fido will provide you with all the essential items to raise a puppy. Along the way, we will also teach you about dog training, psychology, and everything you need to know about encouraging good behavior.
