The Hidden Dependencies in Our Test Suites

As automation grows, tests often become tied to specific system states and hidden prerequisites. What looks independent on the surface turns into dependencies that limit parallel execution and make scaling difficult. The real challenge is that many tests must recreate their own state instead of consuming one that’s already prepared. In this session, we’ll explore what changes when state becomes available on demand and illustrate the idea with a Playwright PoC.
