Let's Get Outside and WALK!

The expansive Mt. Burdell Open Space Preserve in Novato is one of my favorite hiking destinations in Marin: green/gold fields dotted with live oaks, criss-crossed by trails and fire roads. This 4.3 mile loop along the flanks of Mt. Burdell trail affords terrific views to San Pablo Bay and beyond. LEVEL: Intermediate; up and down rolling fire roads. EXPOSURE: Full sun.
