Let's Get Out and WALK!

NEW WALK! I know lots of you are already familiar with Natalie Coffin Park In Ross and the lovely trail around Phoenix lake - but I haven't chosen it for our group because of the Park's extremely limited parking. No matter! We'll park at the Ross Elementary School, and walk from there.

The lake loop is just under 3 miles; the out-and-back section from the parking area at Ross School on Lagunitas Rd. will add about 1.5 miles for a total distance of roughly 4.5 miles. The loop trail is pretty gentle without a lot of ups and downs, but it's narrow and there are rocky sections and some steps, so if you have hiking sticks, I'd advise bringing them.
DIFFICULTY: Easy. EXPOSURE: Mostly shade.
