Let’s meet up and enjoy the John Ball Zoo Lantern festival in Grand Rapids!

The Lantern Festival is a one-mile light tour through John Ball Zoo. The festival features handcrafted Asian lantern displays that will illuminate the Zoo and tell the intersecting story of wildlife and Asian culture.

It is at 830 pm because it should be night by then and it won’t be the same walking through it during the day.

You only need to buy the 30 dollar ticket via John Ball Zoo website and choose Lantern festival for April 24th at 830 pm. The price range is listed with a range as it varies with day and if you are a member or not.

You can buy it here: https://tickets.jbzoo.org/webstore/shop/viewItems.aspx?cg=1&c=271

Weather will be 50-60 so bring a warm layer.
We will meet at the John Ball Zoo entrance. I will be wearing a maroon Scorpion running race shirt and a Blue Michigan Nuclear jacket so hopefully easy to find.

Do not show up if sick and do not bypass the wait list. Thanks.

See you all there!
