Come join other local Christian singles working remotely or studying Friday mornings at Ward Church's RēNū Coffee shop in Northville!

Equally Yoked is a Metro Detroit-based group seeking to create spaces for practicing Christians who are single in southeast Michigan to meet and connect in-person as well as foster relationships in accordance with 2 Corinthians 6:14.

After church, one of the most commonly suggested places to meet someone is coffee shops. So, what if we designated one where on a weekly basis Christian singles could come, gather, and work remotely or study? We're doing just that!

Join us for Christian Singles Coworking Coffee Fridays at RēNū Coffee inside Ward Church in Northville. Sign up once, and after we've reviewed your registration, join a GroupMe app chat to RSVP each week and send a message when you drop in. Showing a legal photo I.D. will be required to participate.

Bring your laptop, homework, or Bible study materials. You'll be able to order a beverage, and enjoy a cozy, social environment to encourage you in staying focused and mentally stimulated as you head into the weekend. Research shows a certain amount of background noise is good for productivity!

An Equally Yoked host will be present from when the coffee shop opens at 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Feel free to drop in any time during then. RēNū Coffee is open until 1:30 p.m. on Fridays.

If you register within 24 hours of a Friday event, you will not be guaranteed attendance for that week.

You are not required to be a member of a particular church or denomination, though we ask attendees are a part of a church to be plugged into a faith community.

Parking is available on-site for free. RēNū Coffee is located inside Entry 1.

We ask that all participants demonstrate the Christian virtues of kindness, respect, and grace when interacting with others.

This event does NOT include speed dating.

About RēNū Coffee

Started in 2016, RēNū Coffee is an outreach and hospitality program of Ward Church. It offers a diverse selection of traditional and seasonal drinks sourced from local specialty coffee roasters in Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor. Additionally, RēNū supports Central Detroit Christian Community Development in Detroit and the Livonia Transition Program, which provides job training for developmentally disabled adults. Just down the hall there's also a free Indoor Playscape.
