Pre Pelikan Hub/Detroit Pen Show Meetup

I’ve been wanting to create a gathering for people that love fountain pens, inks, paper, and stationary in general.

It would be cool to meet people, talk about the upcoming Pelikan Hub on Sept 25th was it?, Detroit pen show on October 2nd, or just socializing about stationary.

I’d love for this to also become a monthly meetup if it kicks off.

Some rules to follow that I found online that seemed like nice to follow if anyone does bring anything to try out or share:

1. Be Polite
2. Be careful when using someone else's pen. Ask twist or pull? Post with consent. Try not to flex... the nib. (Unless it is really a flex nib
3. No shaming of pens and no handwriting shaming too.
4. Wait for inks to be offered before taking a sample and before dipping.
5. Don’t forget to just have fun.
