Went to this event last year, and it was a lot of fun. It's basically a chill Ren Faire with good music, drinks, bonefires, and flame dancers. Perfect for the fall. You don't have to get dressed up, although you can. I will probably just dress warm.

Website description below:
Hear ye, hear ye! Dragons are descending over Stony Creek Metropark, and we’re calling all kings and queens, knights and peasants, princes and princesses and everyone in between to join us for a medieval themed festival! Enjoy live performances and entertainment, along with activities for children. Take a walk through the Woods of the Ridge on the Torch Fire Trail, where you can gather around bonfires or participate in free activities such as henna tattoo, tarot reading, axe throwing, climbing wall and more. Act as a king or queen and take a picture sitting in our Iron Throne. Live entertainers such as dueling swordsmen, flame dancers, stilt walkers and musical acts will entertain you as well, so grab a drink at our dragon tavern and see what else may lurk in the Woods of the Ridge. Dress in your favorite medieval attire and bring the little ones in their costumes to add to the ambience.

Throughout the event there will be barbecue offerings, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Pre-registration is not required for the event, but tickets may be purchased at the gate.

Cost: $10 per person. A Metroparks annual or daily vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. (Or pay day parking fee)

Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Ridgewood Campground
