Scion is a fast-paced sci-fi noir thriller, in a near-future with tailer-printed drugs, snarky AI, and immortal uber-rich targeted for assassination by crowdfunded contracts. Azure is an assassin more used to taking on such contracts, but the promise of an answer to a job gone wrong years ago reluctantly brings him to a bodyguard job, and a mystery. James Islington’s action-packed departure from his best-selling fantasy will scratch that classic cyberpunk itch.
