Welcome to The Gains Games. Where we HAVE A BLAST (while getting stronger and more healthy) playing games like "machobocce" (weighted Bocce), "Goblin Tag" (tag, but carrying a bag of sand), Brah-shka (ashka but with weights), and "Weeping Angels" (red light green light but with weighted lunges).

We'll have a lot of fun in a way that, yes, research supports. The goal is for everyone to be able to complete equally 100% regardless of strength. So for all these games you choose your own weight. I recommend starting light for safety. For real, kids and elderly should be able to participate and win.

"Training is boring" they said. "Impossible!" They said. "Have fun AND get fit for summer?" Come and see.

I wanted to do this because I liked weightlifting but thought it could be WAY MORE FUN. And liked the idea of HIIT programs (crossfit-likes) but found it unsafe-feeling and not strength based enough. Lets have a blast AND improve ourselves as a bonus.
