What we’re about

Our 18-month A Course in Miracles study group offers a gentle, structured journey through the Text, working through its teachings in manageable weekly units. We meet every Sunday evening from 7.30 to 9.00 pm (UK time) to read, reflect, and share insights in a supportive and contemplative space. Whether you're new to the Course or returning to it with fresh eyes, this group provides a steady rhythm for deepening your understanding and practice. Once you register, you’ll receive the full reading schedule so you can follow along at your own pace and prepare for each session.

We use the Complete and Annotated Edition (CE)—available in print or as a free app—which is ideally suited for an intensive study of the Course. This edition includes expansions, additional essays, and extensive footnotes that enrich the text’s meaning and help to explain the more challenging aspects.

You are welcome to join the study group at any point in our 18-month cycle. While A Course in Miracles does progress through its ideas, each section we study together forms a complete movement from problem to solution. The Course is a holographic and hyperlinked text—it reveals itself more fully over time, through repeated engagement and reflection. No single reading is ever final, and each return brings new insights. Whether you’re just beginning or have been studying for years, you’ll find that the discussions remain accessible and enriching, no matter when you start.

Practicalities
We will begin each meeting at 7:30 pm UK time (please double-check the time zone conversion for your location). You’re welcome to join a little early for some quiet preparation or meditation time, and you will be let in from the waiting room at 7.30 pm. If you arrive after we’ve started, please enter with your microphone muted.

About Your Facilitator
I facilitate this group as a dedicated student of the Course, bringing both my experience with the Text and my background in contemplative practices to help guide discussion. Since 2016, I have been a committed student of the Course, weaving its spiritual wisdom with my work as an English literature professor, psychosynthesis coach, and meditation teacher. My academic grounding cultivates a curious and deeply engaged approach, while my meditation teaching and personal practice nurture an ever-deepening inner stillness. I aim to guide others with compassionate insight, fostering spaces where transformation and awakening can unfold. For me, the Course is both a profound teaching and a lived reality, calling us past separation and toward the embodiment of love.

I am a meditation teacher, coach, and academic who helps creatives and changemakers uncover greater purpose and clarity. I’m originally from the US, but I’ve called the UK home for nearly 20 years. Before settling in the UK permanently, I spent three years living and working in Asia, where I had the chance to travel, explore, and immerse myself in different cultures. I hold a PhD from the University of Leeds and have received additional training at the Institute of Psychosynthesis, the University of Middlesex, the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation, and the Sadhana Yoga School (RYT-200).
