Live Author Talk: Colson Whitehead
Details
We’ll be heading to a special evening with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Colson Whitehead in conversation at Rode Hoed in Amsterdam. Whitehead will discuss his new novel Cool Machine — the final part of his Harlem Trilogy — and reflect on his wider body of work, including how his writing grapples with American history, contradiction, and injustice. The event is presented in collaboration with Rode Hoed, the John Adams Institute and Atlas Contact. There will also be a book signing after the event, with books available at the venue through The American Book Center.
💡How it works:
We’ll meet beforehand at Cafe de Knoop (📍Prinsenstraat 5) at 18:30 for a drink before heading to Rode Hoed together for the talk starting at 19:30.
