Live Author Talk: Douglas Stuart

We’re heading to Amsterdam's Oude Lutherse Kerk for an evening with Booker Prize-winning author Douglas Stuart, presented by Athenaeum Boekhandel and SPUI25.

Best known for Shuggie Bain and Young Mungo, Stuart will discuss his new novel John of John, about a young man returning from art school to his family’s windswept farm, where he finds himself caught between the life he left behind and the person he has become. It’s a story of family, faith, identity and belonging.

We’ll meet at De Brabantse Aap (📍Spui 30, 1012 XA Amsterdam) at 19:00 for a pre-talk drink before heading to the Oude Lutherse Kerk for the event, which begins at 20:00.
