About us
Welcome to Meet New Friends Toronto!
This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who wants to build real friendships in Toronto through small, in-person meetups like brunches and coffee chats in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.
We use Groupvibe to help coordinate each meetup. Groupvibe is the platform that supports the scheduling and small-group matching process for our events. The goal is to make socializing in Toronto easier and more intentional, especially for people who are new to the city, recently moved neighbourhoods, or simply want to expand their circle beyond work or school.
How it works:
We host small gatherings of 4–6 people at local cafés and brunch spots around Toronto. Each meetup is designed to encourage genuine conversation and connection. There are no large crowds or loud venues — just casual, face-to-face time to get to know one another.
This group is focused on community-building. Many members stay in touch after their first meetup and continue meeting independently, which is exactly what we hope to encourage.
Group affiliation:
This group is organized by the team behind Groupvibe, a platform created to help people connect offline through small-group meetups. While the events are coordinated using the Groupvibe system, this Meetup group exists to build a local Toronto community. It is not a sales group, and there is no requirement to purchase products. Our primary intention is to create consistent opportunities for members to meet, connect, and form lasting friendships.
Who should join?
Anyone in Toronto (ages 25–45) who is looking for more meaningful social experiences and prefers smaller, more intentional gatherings over large networking-style events. Whether you’ve lived here for years or just arrived, you’re welcome.
Let’s make Toronto feel a little smaller — one meetup at a time.
