Let's Do Something About Food Inseucurity and Hunger in Our County!

Hope Community Services food pantry and soup kitchen rely heavily on donations of food. In the pantry they have an average of 350 families come through each Wednesday and in the soup kitchen they serve 100-120 people per night Monday-Friday, so they run out of certain popular items quickly. Perhaps we could conduct food drives (either at a grocery store or in our neighborhoods or workplaces) for them? I have a list of most needed items. If this sounds like something you would want to help with, we will have an initial meeting to discuss at Nautilus Diner in Mamaroneck.
