Let's Protect Our Environment at the Tom Burke Preserve!!

Tom Burke Preserve, though only 7.5 acres, is a dynamic green space bursting with biodiversity. Half meadow, half wetland forest, the preserve is home to a variety of native flowers, shrubs, trees, and grasses, all of which make Tom Burke a haven to the pollinators that support our ecosystem.

Westchester Land Trust's stewardship staff is hard at work to improve the pollinator habitat and Tom Burke Preserve, and much of this work includes removing invasive species from the preserve to allow native species regeneration. Let's join Conservation tech Stella and Land Steward Brendan for a morning of invasive removal, learning about the land, and having fun!
