What we’re about
I’m looking to play my favourite game, Blood on the Clocktower, with new players, experienced players, or a mix of both!
If you’re unfamiliar, BOTC is a social deduction game in the vein of Werewolf or Mafia. Players are randomly assigned to either the good or evil team, each with unique abilities. The good team wins by identifying and executing the evil players, while the evil team wins by killing, deceiving, and spreading misinformation, often through clever lying and misdirection.
I own the game and am happy to storytell regularly, but I’m also open to rotating and playing as a participant if others want to try storytelling as well.
This group is intended to be in-person, and I’m based in the Norfolk–Virginia Beach area.
All experience levels are welcome. The ideal group members are people who:
Are comfortable with bluffing and deception as part of the game
Are good sports and don’t take things too personally
Practice basic good hygiene
Are friendly, respectful, and interested in making new friends
If you enjoy social games, deduction, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere, this group should be a great fit.
