The fate of the planet's last untouched wilderness—the deep ocean—is under threat as a secretive organization plans to permit large-scale extraction of seabed metals to address the world’s energy crisis....Deep Rising explores the vital role of our ocean's fragile and mysterious ecosystems. The film presents a gripping narrative of geopolitical, corporate, and scientific intrigue.
