Aubrey McCormick is the founder and CEO of Rummer Development and Twyne Design — a real estate developer and designer who has built her career around one belief: that great design creates lasting value.

Over the last five years, Aubrey has completed 30+ residential renovations across the Portland metro, earning features in Dwell, The Oregonian, and Oregon Home Magazine. Her work caught the attention of the late Bob Rummer — the legendary builder behind one of the PNW's most iconic home brands — who personally asked Aubrey to carry on his legacy. Today, Rummer Development is building the first Rummer home since 1975, evolving his vision of natural light, seamless indoor-outdoor living, and human-centered design into communities built for how people truly live and thrive.

Alongside development, Aubrey founded Twyne Design, a firm that brings the same intentionality from her development work into every space she touches. She holds an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and a BA in Interior Design and Psychology — a combination that informs everything from how she underwrites a deal to how she designs a room. Through Portland REI, Aubrey shares the real story behind building a development business rooted in purpose, design, and lasting impact.
