What we’re about
The 2023 Vision for San Diego Black Professionals is to continue our mission of fostering an atmosphere for individuals to make meaningful contributions to the Greater San Diego community while providing a social network for Black Professionals. We will achieve this by creating intimate experiences from a Black perspective, connecting individuals to San Diego's social and professional resources, and providing positive representation of Black Professionals. We will also serve as a welcome wagon to Black individuals relocating to San Diego and collaborate with other organizations with similar missions.
Our vision includes hosting happy hours and partnering with other organizations to create happy hour events. We will also visit churches to connect with the Black community and provide assistance to stay on-brand. Our events will be organized and hosted by trustworthy, energetic, and fun individuals who represent SDBP's values. Additionally, we will advise SDBP leadership on next-level opportunities and conduct year-end planning to ensure the organization continues to grow and make a positive impact in the San Diego community.
Overall, our vision is to bring Southern hospitality to Southern California by creating a welcoming environment for Black professionals in San Diego and connecting them to the resources they need to thrive.
