The Political Compass: Philosophical Social Game
Details
The Political Compass is a model that maps people's political views across two dimensions: left-right and libertarian-authoritarian.
Curious about where you and others fit in? Come find out in an interactive group game!
The aim isn't to debate or convince anyone they're right or wrong. It's about having friendly conversations and discovering how others think.
In a time when politics can easily become polarised, this is an opportunity to meet people with different perspectives and understand each other a little better.
Hereโs how it works:
- Everyone takes a short quiz, but only the host sees the results
- Participants discuss and rank themselves and members of the group on where they think everyone falls on the political compass
- The host reveals the actual results, and you compare your perceptions with reality
This is for anyone who enjoys:
- Politics & current affairs
- Interesting group discussions
- Meeting new people
