Welcome!
We are so happy that you are a part of our community! At Empower, we meet our families and young adults where they are - in their local communities! We started Organic events so that our local Mentors and Volunteers could plan get-togethers outside of our organization’s (Empower) sanctioned events. Think hiking, ice cream, sporting events, museums and more! Our hope is that through these events, we can minimize the feelings of isolation in the members of our community🤍
Want to host an event? Feel free to create an event/invitation (approved Volunteers/Mentors over the age of 25) and be as specific as possible (i.e. date, time, place, age range, type of parent loss, etc.) and we will help you along the way! We look forward to seeing you in the future!
