Daytime Dance Party with all profits supporting Hope 4 Youth: An organization that supports young people facing homelessness.

How much does this cost? $15 donation requested. This will cover the lunch and music - venue and dance floor have been donated.

Will there be food? Yes. A light lunch will be provided. Tomato soup, egg salad sandwich and tossed salad. Water bottles provided.

What should I wear? Whatever is comfortable to dance in. If you have dance shoes bring them.

Why is this being hosted? Seniors can sometimes feel forgotten- especially in the winter months in Minnesota. Dancing is a great way to lift your spirits. Connect with others, get some physical activity, challenge yourself mentally and enjoy some music- all while supporting young people who are struggling.

Who is hosting this event? Lois Pettman is a real estate agent who specializes in helping seniors transition into housing that fits their current needs. She has children who have disabilities and has a love and passion for those who often feel unseen.

What will the schedule look like? 20-11:30 dancing. 11:30 prayer and lunch line starts. 12:00 Hope 4 Youth presentation. 12:30-1 dancing.

What kind of dancing will it be? We will DJ a variety of ballroom dances: swing, waltz, polka, cha cha, line dance, etc.

Do I need to be a dancer? No. You can enjoy the music and company of others. This is a great way to meet new friends.
