Mallgamers started playing pick-up soccer more than 30 years ago. Many players who started then are still with us today.
This group of soccer players is passionate about this beautiful game and enjoys spending time with our fellow friends.
We play pick-up games in the DC-VA area. While it is an informal group, we take the game seriously. This means, when we wake up early in the morning and go to the pitch, we expect each player to give his/her best during the game while following the below rules and expectations of this group.
This is a private group and request to join will be reviewed before approved.

GENERAL RULES AND EXPECTATIONS
-Do not bring friends with you if they have not be accepted as a member in our group Meetup.
-Do not share the location of the games to people outside the Meetup group.
-Bring a white AND a colorful/dark shirt
-No tackling
-Players assume all risk & liability and agree to this by clicking ‘going’ and/or showing up
-Don’t show if you are ill or exhibit COVID symptoms
-No walk-ons
-Organizers reserve the right to restrict people from outside the group; this
is a private event for Mallgamers
-Players MUST RSVP to each individual day. If you do not RSVP, do not show up and expect to play. Organizers will enforce these rules
-There will be a limit on the number of players allowed to RSVP on any given day. This will be specified on each event day. RSVPs are required by no later than Friday at 10pm. After this time, RSVPs will be closed. If the game is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If space becomes available should a player change his/her RSVP, organizers will add players from the waiting list
-Show up and be ready to play (this includes putting shoes on and warming up) on the time specified
Players who do not follow these rules and expectations will be permanently removed from this group.
