Spirit Walk - Hôpital Notre-Dame à la Rose (Visit + 10km hike)

An old museum with the name Hôpital Notre Dame de la Rose, sounds not too bad for me. It appears to be one of the oldest hospitals in Europe, originating in the Middle Ages. It has beautiful architecture, an art medical instruments collection (always fascinating) and last but not least a medicinal herbal garden. Any place with medicinal plants ends up in my to do list, so here you go.

We will first visit the museum, let's say for 2h, then lunch and then a 10km together.

In terms of food and drinks, please provide enough for yourself and possibly some for the hungry and needy that are always at our hikes.
Makes sure not to make them sick, by giving them healthy food!

If any of you wants to express their creativity during the nhike in any way, it is warmly encouraged. Not only is it fun for all to enjoy, it also works very liberating for the soul. Be welcome, it can go in any direction: poem, chant, yoga, martial arts, some teaching about something you know, anything... We can use a nice natural spot on our way as your stage.
There's a few communication guidelines to keep in the back of your minds during our hikes:
• This is supposed to be inclusive, fun & a bit adventurous. We love some deep talks, but try to avoid any polarizing topics, be respectful to each others' viewpoints and try not to judge too openly.
• By train: We meet at the train station of Lessines at 10h16 and walk to the hospital from there. A train leaves from Brussels-Midi at 9h13 with passing-over in Ath.

• By car: We park our cars at Lessines station and start the hike at 10h20 after the train arrives.
You're responsible for your own safety and well-being down the road.
In case something happens (you get lost, you can't proceed,...), we will do our common best to find a solution, but don't expect the whole group to become dependent.
