NATURE HIKE - Veltem (22,6km) - White horses, mills and illusions

Details
Our hike will bring us to the charming, but largely unknown village of Veltem-Beisem. I couldn't find much worthy to tell about the history of the place, but I did find some nice picture of a white horse, that we should encounter. It might be dissapointying to some, but there's no prince sitting on it. I recently discovered that emotional confusion goes hand in hand with idealization. To get more real and grounded, its good to learn to establish and express clear and firm boundaries. Not only saying, but also acting upon it. Where do you believe you're not firm enough with your boundaries (towards yourself and/or the other?) Can you identify some illusions you might keep up, that hold you from progressing in life?
The hike itself is quite long, so don't complain and ask how far it still is.
The walk should last around 5h30, excluding breaks, drinks/food afterwards and transportation of course.
As a hobby herbalist, I could tell a little bit here and there about the healing aspects of herbs we find down the road. If we find time, we can make a fresh tea with them. If you have any questions regarding natural health, please don't hesitate to ask.
If any of you wants to express their creativity in any way, its is warmly encouraged. Not only is it fun for all to enjoy, it also works very liberating for the soul. Be welcome, it can go in any direction: poem, chant, yoga, martial arts, some teaching about something you know, anything... We can use a nice natural spot on our way as your stage.
In terms of food and drinks, please provide enough for yourself and possibly some for the hungry and needy that are always at our hikes.
Makes sure not to make them sick, by giving them healthy food!
There's a few communication guidelines to keep in the back of your minds during our hikes:
This is supposed to be inclusive, fun & a bit adventurous. We love some deep talks, but try to avoid any polarizing topics, be respectful to each others' viewpoints and try not to judge too openly.
By train: there is a train (direction Leuven) leaving at Brussels-South station at 9h straight to Veltem station, arriving at 9h40.
The station is also the start and meeting place for our hike. You should be able to get back to Brussels around 18h approx.
I'm personally going by car, if others of you have space in their car, please propose your free seats in the comment section of this hike.
By car: we park and meet at Veltem station at 9h40. When the train arrives, we'll wait for our friends and continue our tour.
You're responsible for your own safety and well-being down the road.
In case something happens (you get lost, you can't proceed,...), we will do our common best to find a solution, but don't expect the whole group to become dependent.
Take care and see you soon!
Ken
