What we’re about
We are a welcoming and egalitarian Reform congregation of about 130 families located in Kirkland, WA. We nurture an atmosphere of openness and friendship, encouraging members of our community to plant or transplant Jewish roots. We welcome empty-nesters, LGBTQ individuals and families, interfaith families, Jews-by-choice, visitors, and anyone who's interested in discovering, rediscovering, or affirming Judaism. We are guided by the URJ Sacred Partnership model in how we relate with each other, our Board, Staff, and Rabbi. We focus on our responsibility to the shared goals and common good of our congregation. We practice using the tools of respect, trust, honesty, listening and communication, transparency, confidentiality, flexibility to build and nurture those sacred partnerships. They all require a willingness from each person to be vulnerable toward others.
If you have questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact the Co-Presidents of Kol Ami.

- Saturday Morning Torah Study! Make new friends and learn something new!Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, Kirkland, WA
Every week, the entire Jewish world studies the same texts of the Torah—yes, all of us. We have kept this cycle of Torah study alive for 2000+ years all over the world. For most of that history, we could not communicate with each other like we do today. We committed to a schedule of communal study, and we stuck to it. Our commitment to each other and the words of this sacred scroll has kept us alive and moving forward in time.
At Kol Ami, we offer Torah study twice a week! In these sessions, we use the Torah to explore Judaism, our world, and ourselves.Due to Zoom Bombing we request you sign up for our newsletter to receive the zoom links: Kol Ami | A CENTER FOR JEWISH LIFE IN THE PACIFIC NW
