Out with the Old and In with the New: A SoulCollage® Journey into Intention
Details
## Session Overview
Welcome to this transformative SoulCollage® session as we stand at the threshold of a new year. This gathering offers sacred space to honor what we're releasing from the past year and to call forward what we want to invite into our lives ahead. Rather than making resolutions—which often carry the energy of "shoulds" and self-criticism—we'll work with intentions, planting seeds for how we want to live, feel, and be in the coming months.
## The Journey
We begin by turning inward, getting curious about the parts of us that carried us through the past year. Some of these parts worked hard to protect us—perhaps through worry, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or staying busy. While we honor their efforts, we may recognize that certain behaviors, thoughts, or feelings no longer serve our growth. This session invites gentle inquiry: What are we ready to release? What patterns feel heavy or constrictive? What can we compassionately let go of?
From this place of clearing, we turn toward possibility. What wants to emerge? What qualities, experiences, or ways of being are calling to us? We'll explore intentions not as rigid goals but as living invitations—directions we want to move toward with Self-energy guiding the way.
## The SoulCollage® Process
You'll create two cards during this session:
Card One: Releasing - This card honors what you're letting go of. As you search through images, notice what speaks to the behaviors, thoughts, or feelings you're ready to release. The images may be literal or metaphorical—trust what resonates. This card becomes a witness to your courage in naming what no longer serves you.
Card Two: Inviting - This card embodies your intentions for the new year. What energies, qualities, or experiences do you want to welcome? Let the images speak to your heart's deepest knowing about how you want to live. This card becomes an anchor point, a visual reminder of what you're calling forward.
## Sharing and Integration
After creating our cards, we'll gather in circle to share using the "I Am One Who..." format. This sacred witnessing allows each person to speak their truth while the group holds compassionate space. You may notice how your cards continue to reveal their wisdom even as you speak about them.
We close by acknowledging this powerful transition—honoring the past while opening to new possibilities, trusting that Self will guide us forward with compassion, clarity, and courage.
