Who Runs Britain?

We shall meet at Leon in Cheapside opposite St Paul’s tube. first stop will be the Royal College of Arms. This is the official body that deals with tradition- a big deal in a country without a written constitution.

Next will be the Court of Arches that draws its power from the Magna Carter and yet few know exists.

Finally we will see he Bank of England which operates largely independently of the Treasury and involves itself in all sorts of things.

All three buildings are beautiful and close together and will give an insight into the ways Britain is governed that you are unlikely to find elsewhere.
