The Thinking Room #1 — Conversations that expand perspectives.
Details
Introduction
Our understanding of the human mind is evolving rapidly. Neuroscience, psychology, and longevity research continue to reshape how we think about health, behaviour, and ageing.
The first session of The Thinking Room brings together a small group of curious people to explore where these fields intersect, and what they might tell us about living well.
Why This Discussion
Longevity, neuroscience, and psychology are often discussed independently, yet they ask many of the same questions about how we think, adapt, and age.
This session is an opportunity to explore those ideas together through conversation rather than presentation, drawing on research, personal experience, and different perspectives.
Who Should Attend
Anyone with an interest in thoughtful conversation is welcome.
Whether you work in technology, healthcare, research, design, business, academia, or simply enjoy learning, the discussion is designed for people who are curious rather than expert.
No prior knowledge is expected.
Discussion Themes
Longevity — What does current research suggest about extending healthspan?
Neuroscience — Neuroplasticity, memory, attention, and the brain's capacity to adapt.
Psychology — Habits, stress, identity, and the processes behind behaviour change.
The Discussion
This is a moderated conversation rather than a lecture or panel.
The discussion is guided, but everyone is encouraged to contribute, ask questions, and explore ideas from different perspectives.
The emphasis is on thoughtful dialogue, respectful disagreement, and shared learning.
