About us
We are the Barcelona chapter of Democrats Abroad, the official arm of the Democratic Party for Americans living outside the U.S. We are working hard to protect democracy and progressive values. Whether you've been here for years or just arrived, you have a role to play. Your vote from abroad can be the margin of victory in critical races across the U.S. and we’re here to make sure it counts.
Our Mission is Simple:
✅ Help U.S. citizens abroad register to vote and request their absentee ballots
✅ Mobilize the overseas vote to defend democracy and elect Democrats
✅ Build a vibrant community of engaged Americans in Barcelona
Get Involved - We organize monthly events, including community meetups, GOTV (Get Out the Vote) trainings and more: www.democratsabroad.org/es-barcelona_events
Want to do more? Join our growing team of volunteers! We’re looking for people to help with voter outreach and assistance, event planning, social media, and more. No matter your skills or availability, there’s a place for you in our movement. Please send us an e-mail to get involved: [info-es-barcelona@democratsabroad.org](https://mail.google.com/mail/?view=cm&fs=1&tf=1&to=info-es-barcelona@democratsabroad.org)

Yes.We.Vote. Barcelona Scavenger Hunt! 🔍
Plaça del Pou de la Figuera, Carrer del Pou de la Figuera 08003, Barcelona, ES🌇 Barcelona, a city with a long history of fighting fascism reminds us of how fragile democracy can be. YES WE VOTE brings that history to life with a team scavenger hunt through Barcelona's resistance past. Teams of five 🖐️ will move through the city solving clues, completing challenges, and uncovering the stories of the people who refused to comply — and won. It's fun. It's Barcelona. And it ends with one reminder that the resistance figured out a long time ago: showing up works. Protest works. Voting works. Collective action works. Come ready to move, think, and leave with your ballot requested. Friends and family are welcome to join!
Sponsored by the Global and Spain Women's Caucus.🕙Registration starts at 10 am at the Jardins del Pou de la Figuera, Carrer Pou de la Figuereta, 5, Ciutat Vella. Teams of five will be formed at registration for those who do not come with a team.
Purchase your tickets and SIGN UP HERE
📑 Each team will be given a dossier with instructions, clues, activities and information.
🤸♀️The course is about 4 km long (2.5 miles) on level ground, and it will take an estimated 3 to 4 hours to complete.📃Proof of voter registration for all US citizens 18 or over is required to enter the scavenger hunt!
💵Tickets start at $10 for individual adults, or for two youths (under 26). $25 for pre-formed teams of 5. All funds go to Democrat Abroad's Get Out The Vote initiative after minimal organizational costs are covered. (Only US citizens can purchase tickets and make donations, )
