About us
We are the Barcelona chapter of Democrats Abroad, the official arm of the Democratic Party for Americans living outside the U.S. We are working hard to protect democracy and progressive values. Whether you've been here for years or just arrived, you have a role to play. Your vote from abroad can be the margin of victory in critical races across the U.S. and we’re here to make sure it counts.
Our Mission is Simple:
✅ Help U.S. citizens abroad register to vote and request their absentee ballots
✅ Mobilize the overseas vote to defend democracy and elect Democrats
✅ Build a vibrant community of engaged Americans in Barcelona

Join us for this Thirsty Thursday, our monthly meetup where we unwind, connect, and enjoy lively conversation at Uncorqt, a wine bar in the heart of Gràcia run by fellow DA member Tim (from Miami) and Andrés.
There’s something for everyone: delicious tapas prepared by Andrés, a standout selection of wines handpicked by Tim, plus beer, vermouth, and non-alcoholic options too.
And volunteers will be on hand to help Americans register to vote!
Thirsty Thursday usually takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month, unless otherwise noted.
