Adrianna will explain how investors and developers identify hidden risks in properties before buying or building.
Topics will include:

• Common environmental issues found in older homes and commercial properties (lead, asbestos, radon, former industrial use)
• How environmental risks can affect financing, property value, and project timelines

👩🏻 Guest Speaker: Adrianna Jarosz
Adrianna Jarosz is a civil and environmental engineer with over 13 years of experience helping clients navigate technical and environmental challenges related to commercial and industrial land use.
She currently serves as a Senior Project Engineer at Landau Associates and previously worked with Geosyntec Consultants, supporting projects across multiple regions of the United States.
Adrianna recently returned to Chicago after several years on the West Coast and brings valuable insight into environmental due diligence, land development risks, and the engineering considerations that can impact real estate transactions and development timelines.
Outside of her professional work, Adrianna enjoys staying active with her pet husky and exploring Chicago’s rich history.
