Welcome to the best Meetup group you will ever join.  We are a group of women ONLY of age 55 and up who meet mostly during the week in the Littleton, Highlands Ranch and Centennial area.  We are fun, active women looking for more likeminded women. We have both married and single women, some retired and some still working.

We charge dues of $10 per year to defray the cost of the Meetup app group fees.  You’ll start with a 30-day free membership and will be a pending member during this time. After 30 days, you’ll have to pay your dues of $10 to continue as a member of Divas. You’ll be able to pay these dues on the 30th day. Non-payment of dues will result in the Meetup app automatically dropping you from all events you may have signed up for.

You are considered an active member if you attend at least one event every 3 months. 
If the event you want to attend is full, please sign up and you will be put on the waitlist. Members on the attending list do drop out and you will then be moved to the attending list.  Meetup may notify you when that occurs.  You do need to be signed up in Meetup for notifications to receive them.

If you are unsure about attending an event, please talk to one of the organizers, they will make sure you feel welcome, comfortable and introduce you to other members.

GUIDELINES
If an event is full, sign up and you will be placed on the waitlist. If a member attending drops off, Meetup may send you a notification that you have been moved to the attending list. (Turn on notifications in settings so you can receive these messages.)

All events will start within 10 minutes of the listed start time. Every event has a day and time that a FINAL count must be given to a venue. If you cancel after that time or you fail to attend, you will be considered a no show. The cutoff time is listed on every event notice.  If a member has too many unexcused no-shows, the administrators have the right to remove you from the Divine Divas Meetup Group.

Please keep your language respectful at all times to members, organizers, hosts and the staff at the events.

We all have different tolerances for driving in snow or bad weather. A host can cancel an event based on their own discretions as to whether the driving conditions are safe.  Be sure to check the website, to see if an event has been cancelled or changed prior to attending.

Annual Dues – Nonpayment of dues will cancel you as a member.  CASH can be given to any Organizer, at least 4 days before your renewal dateCREDIT CARDS, if you’ve stored a credit card in the Meetup app it will processes your payment automatically on your anniversary date.

Guests
The host of the event will decide when they open an event to allow guests.
Guests must be women 55+.
Members will always have the opportunity to sign up first.
Members can bring 1 guest at a time and the same guest not more than twice. That guest can then sign up to become a Diva member. 
Provide the guest name so we can make a name tag for them.
