Welcome to the Meetup for Meetup Organizers!

This group is for event organizers, entrepreneurs, and event marketing professionals in Los Angeles, who are passionate about event planning, social networking, and/or experiential marketing. For those of you that have used meetup for years, you might remember that these gatherings used to be held regularly (my Meetup themselves), but for some reason, are no longer happening!

Join us for networking events, brainstorming sessions, and workshops to share ideas, best practices, and strategies for hosting events that build community. Whether you are new to organizing meetups or a seasoned pro, this group is the perfect place to connect with like-minded individuals and learn from each other's experiences. Let's see what collaborating together can bring!

Having run events in Los Angeles for almost a decade, and having figured it all out myself, I am motivated to help others build their communities. I currently run the LA Chess Social, and have helped build a coalition of Southern Californian chess clubs. We have all found that working together and sharing resources has led to much success and fun!

This free opportunity to gather and discuss ways of helping each other out, is certainly going to be a beneficial evening!
Several of us have lists of venues that are open to hosting meetups that we would love to share!

We will be meeting monthly at the Visionarium in South Pasadena. They have graciously offered us all free coffee and free food for those that participate!
