Note - "JoJo" was the nickname for their second son, Josiah, who tragically passed away in 2018 at just seven weeks old from a congenital heart defect. The Whiddons chose to name their business after him to honor and remember his life. JoJo's Espresso started in July 2020 as a mobile coffee shop, operating out of a customized trailer. Recognizing a demand for a specialty coffee shop in Germantown and having cultivated a loyal customer base, JoJo's Espresso opened its first storefront in the Thornwood plaza on November 2022.
