"Tales of the Maya Skies" at Pensacola State College Planetarium

The Pensacola State College Planetarium will present “Tales of the Maya Skies” on Friday, July 11 at 6:00 pm. The hour-long show tells the story of the Mayan culture’s relationship with the night sky.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students. They may be purchased on the PSC website (pensacolastate.edu/planetarium) or in person at the Ashmore Auditorium.

The PSC Planetarium is located in Building 21 on the main campus on Ninth Ave. at Airport Blvd. Show time is 6 pm, but the doors will be locked at 5:45 pm, and no one will be admitted late.

The PSC Planetarium’s website warns that “this show has visual effects that may cause motion sickness symptoms,” and “individuals with sensitivities to flashing lights should exercise caution.”
