Laura Barrett Bennett has a youthful nature, love for people, and contagious enthusiasm for making a difference in our lives and world. She is the Founder of Unity of the Heartmind, Inc, and the creator of the daily video Today’s Heartlines. She is a third generation Unity minister in her 43rd year of ministry. She served as Senior Minister in three Unity churches, as a Board member of Unity Worldwide Ministries, and as Chairperson of Biblical Studies on the faculty for the ministerial and adult education programs of Unity. Laura is a published author and writer of poetry and music. She has lived in the Middle East and travelled throughout the world giving classes and workshops on Biblical Interpretation, World Scripture, Prayer and Meditation, Practical Mysticism, and Leadership in Life and Ministry. She currently lives in Overland Park, Kansas where she is working on her doctorate in theology and enjoying life with her husband, Larry, and her cat, Sophia.
