Ancestors and Us

Rabbi David will explore the psychological state of anamnesis, where the past is perceived as an ongoing current event. Whether it is the exodus from Egypt in Judaism or the resurrection in Christianity, our ancestors did not think of time in the binary terms of past and future. Rather they experienced time on a spectrum where the past is omnipresent learning us into the future and resting in an omnipresent sense of now. .
