Brown Girl Voices is a quiet, intimate gathering created to make room for Brown girls to share their voices in a way that feels safe, supported, and unhurried.

This night is about expression, not performance. You’re welcome to share a poem, a few lines you’ve written, or words that feel meaningful to you. You’re also welcome to simply listen. Being present and witnessing one another is just as important as speaking.

We’ll gather in a small group to keep the atmosphere warm and personal. The intention is to offer a soft space where voices can be heard without interruption, pressure, or expectation.

What to expect:

• A calm, intimate setting
• Poetry, spoken word, or short readings
• A listening-first, supportive environment
• No pressure to share or perform
