What we’re about
Described as “yogic sleep,” the Yoga Nidra practice allows the body to deeply relax while the mind stays inwardly alert. Swami Satyananda Saraswati, who pioneered the practice in the early 1950s from ancient Tantric texts, calls it “reaching the border between waking and sleeping states.” Western medicine would call it the confluence of alpha and delta brainwaves.
Requirement: empty stomach (stop eating a heavy meal 3 hours prior to session), wear loosely fitted clothing and bring your yoga mat.
Learn to let go of all the things collected in your body and mind.
Come and try it out, see if you will be able to trust my voice to guide you inwards. There will be Om chanting for about 10-15 minutes before starting the yoga nidra practice.
Look forward to meeting you.
