Birds, Brews and a Band Social

The last couple of years we've met in July at a bar/restaurant for a birding social because of the heat we would have to meet so very early IF we were going to go out into the wilderness. This year it will be different. Cheryl, bring your New Zealand photos!

Eddie's Cocktails is at 8150 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85710. Eddie's originally was at E Broadway and Camino Seco for over 50 years! Now they are on E 22nd in a more modern space featuring "Live" music 5 nights a week. 4 of those nights it's Country music but on Fridays they went back to the rock/blues genre. The CORNERSTONE Band will be featured on July 4 doing rock, country, blues, Motown and a few Oldies (think Elvis).

Let's meet at 7:30 pm before the music starts. There will be "Live" music from 8 - 12 am. I will reserve a couple of tables for us. There is not much in the way of food available but they have bags of chips and can cook a toaster oven pizza! Bring your birding stories from the past and share with the group. Break bread with fellow birders and enjoy some awesome tunes from the 1950's through to the 1990's; rock, country, R&B and blues. Come and go as you please!

We hope that you can come out and cool off inside Eddie's. There are a lot of tables and chairs and we expect a big crowd! It's a big open space with a performance stage.
