It is super hard having a stroke and losing the life you had before. Most people don't understand why you can't just get over it and cope. They don't understand that your life has changed forever and there is nothing you can do. Nothing at all.. You have lost the things you enjoyed or loved the most. People have abandoned and forgotten about you like you've died. I know it's been almost impossible to cope for me, so I am hoping this group will be a help to me and others.

This is a group to offer support and safe space for young adults or stroke survivors still in their prime as we are not considered or talked about enough. People feel like we are too young to have had a stroke, so there is really no support prepared for us. Here is a group that supports still partying, dating, hanging out, and still having a life after a stroke. I am hoping to make a difference.

Making friends and dating can be extremely difficult after having a stroke as you may have been left with some form of disability. I am hoping that this group can be helpful and grow into something bigger to help us all.

I want this group to be for Stroke Survivors or Disabled people that are still fashionable, fun, fabulous, funny, attractive, and a catch. We are still people just with limitations. I personally still love restaurants, broadway shows, and just being out and about.
