Arden Dec 1st Contra Dance - DIFFERENT LOCATION & TIME!

This month, Alex Deis-Lauby from NYC calls to music by Stove Dragon! Don't miss this high-energy group from Massachusetts.

Please don't worry that you're too uncoordinated or whatever: we are here to have fun! No special outfits or shoes needed. And you don't need to know anything. Come alone, with a partner, or with friends. :)

LOCATION: Park Avenue Community Center, 129 Park Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081. This dance is sponsored by PATMaD.

PRICE: special out of town band pricing.

Sliding scale $20-25 general. $15 for Arden Club members, students, and folks on limited income. Free for children under 13. Pay what you can, no one turned away for lack of funds. Seriously. If the price would keep you home, please come anyway and pay what is comfortable! We would miss you.

We don't have a credit card reader, but cash, Venmo, Zelle and checks are all good.

TIME: 3:30-6:00.

Timing is tight due to morning church service before the dance. Alex is prepared to give a beginner lesson, but there will be a sound check happening at the same time, so it may be very short! Every Arden contra is accessible to beginners, but please bring large groups of new folks to a different dance, so we can give them an effective lesson!

DINNER: Semi-potluck at 6:00! Bring some Thanksgiving leftovers to share, or sign up for the pizza order.
