I am pleased to announce that something many of us have been waiting for is finally here - the return of You Should Be Dancing on 24/10. It's been a year since it has been in Wellington, and I trust that everyone that has enjoyed it before will be super happy.

Why am I noticing it this far ahead? Because every show that we have attended over the last 5 years has sold out quickly. Consequently, always some of our members whine about not being able to join us at San Fran.

You Should Be Dancing is a giant disco dancing celebration, a boogie wonderland featuring classic tunes groovy enough to make even a statue move. A club night of super danceable disco hits! If you love disco, or just want to shake your thing and have a great night out, this night is for you.

It's that time of year again - HALLOWEEN. This year will will celebrate our 8th Annual Halloween Party at the Cavern Club. I can think of no better place to have it. The band "Wink" will play the hottest '80's and ''90's dance tunes FOR FREE, and the Cavern Club will offer us the CHEAPEST DRINK SPECIALS in Wellington. There will also be a Halloween costume contest, so I am sending this notice out now so you can plan accordingly.

Costumes are optional, but you (and everyone else) will have more fun if you wear one. If you choose not to go "the full Monte" and wear a costume, all you need is some funny glasses, a wig, sunglasses, or a mask - all of which you can buy on the cheap at a 2$ store.

Early RSVP's are super appreciated, for the more that do, the more that will do so later. Newbies, I look forward to meeting you there and to introducing you to the others if you like.
