Happy Daze -
I just learned that the Wink Band is playing this Saturday at the Gibbons Hotel, formally known as Jack Hacketts. Regardless that we just had a meetup and that the meetup will not be on Friday, I decided that we are going to see them this Saturday any way.
For years, we have danced to the Wink Band. Hands down they are our favourite band. The last time we heard them play we were amazed at how many new songs they have added to their repertoire. Literally every one of the over 30 of us that were there were booging on the dance floor.
The Wink Band starts at 9:00, so try to be at the Gibbons Hotel early. Even if you do not drink alcohol, you will have fun. Newbies. We will be under the humongous TV screens to the right of the bar. Newbies, when you arrive, come to me so I can greet you and introduce you to some of the others.
