1/5 - The return to the Cavern Club - Private event - cheap booze

Greetings and Salutations -

On Friday, 1 May, we will be returning to one of our favorite bars - the Cavern Club. It's been too long since we were last there and I know that many of us are looking forward to going back.

The Cavern Club is modelled after the original one in Liverpool, England, one of the first bars where the Beatles started their career. Both are basement bars, like many that I have partied at in the States and in Europe. While its walls are adorned with rock memorabilia, it will feature some of the best 80's and 90's dance music for us to boogie to.

We will have the entire bar to ourselves up to 10:00 as a PRIVATE EVENT and enjoy the CHEAPEST DRINK SPECIALS in Wellington. You will have blast though even if you do not drink alcohol.

Newbies, this will be an especially good time to jump off Humpty Dumpty's wall and join us. When you arrive, come to me so that I may greet you and introduce you around.
